The color design is so good aaaaaa! I can see why people say they want to eat artstyles now!
I like how unpredictable the enemies are
Here's what I think it's missing...
I feel like Cubey should be highlighted at the start of the round, or maybe even be a color other than blue for the entire round, to help you reorient after closing the upgrade screen
Small enemies should have their eyes further apart
New perk that allows lasers to sometimes go in 8 directions instead of 4
New perk that allows Cubey to switch directions by pressing WASD keys
Make it more clear what cracked blocks and empty tiles do
New perk that makes chain reactions do more damage
Bossfights.
An optional challenge where, if you get a specific perk, the upgrade screen won't be shown for 3 rounds, and then after that you get to unlock 3 perks at once
Allow the player to ditch their oldest 10 perks for some kind of bonus

the game is actually made in turbowarp (a modded version of scratch)!
